What do you really, really want?
Most people are more clear about what they don’t want than what they do want.
Imagine you ask your phone for directions.
“I don’t want to go to Denver.”
“I really don’t like Las Vegas.”
“Oh and I definitely don’t want to go Salt Lake City.”
Would Siri be able to tell you turn-by-turn directions?
Absolutely not!
In fact, to really get directions you need to be quite specific.
An exact address would be ideal.
Your mind can be your ally
Our minds work like this too.
You have this amazingly creative unconscious mind.
It can troubleshoot things while you sleep and dream at night even.
I once watched a YouTuber talk about why he quit playing video games.
He was an entrepreneur and would work on his business for 8 hours a day.
Then he’d switch gears and play video games for 8 hours.
But he noticed something curious.
When he wasn’t doing anything, his mind would wander…
…and it would always be trying to solve problems in the game!
He figured if he stopped gaming, his brain would work on business problems instead.
And he was right.
That’s exactly what he noticed when he stopped gaming so much.
As a result, he started making a lot more progress in his business, without “working harder.”
But by actually doing less!
Trusting the process
When you get crystal clear about what you want, your whole being can work towards it.
This takes far less effort, less hustle, less grind.
You can trust the turn-by-turn directions of your wise unconscious mind.
You don’t even have to see the full picture in advance.
It can be helpful to review what you want every single day.
And then invite that wise, wordless part of you to help you in get there.
Take care,

P.S. Getting support in pursuing your goals can also be quite helpful! People in my weekly Joy of Doing coaching group find it quite valuable for that purpose.
