Transform Your Money Fears

Is it just me, or is everybody worried about money right now?

I’ve noticed a lot of clients, friends, and family talking about it.

It’s been happening to me too.

Despite all the work I’ve done on myself!

Happy? In this Economy?

Maybe it’s the economy, grocery bills, or gas prices.

But then again, I know it’s possible to feel safe and optimistic, despite the context.

So I’ve been dusting off all my tools.

The first thing I did last week was what I call the 90/30 schedule.

It’s an epic way to reset your nervous system if you’re feeling burned out.

Every 2 hours throughout the day, take 30 minutes to rest or meditate.

Now sometimes you can’t do this every 2 hours, obviously.

But I find if I can do this even 3 or 4 times a day, it makes a massive difference.

Not only did it help me process some of my fears.

It also gave me incredible energy and creativity!

Clear Your Fears

The next thing I did was clear specific fears using pattern interrupt methods.

In fact, I created a free mini class on how to do that.

First, I thought about a specific fear I have for two minutes.

Then I did 3 minutes of enjoyable movement.

Finally, I thought about it again, and it felt different!

It’s so simple it doesn’t seem like it would work.

But I’ve found that both with myself and my clients, pattern interrupt methods are remarkably effective.

Deep Belief Change

I’ve also been doing some belief change work around money.

Many of our unhelpful beliefs contain “modal operators” like “have to” and “can’t.”

Like, “I have to make more money!”

We can ask weird questions about these beliefs that loosen things up.

For instance, “Do you have to believe that?”

“Can you not believe something else?”

These questions create a kind of smoke-coming-out-of-the-ears experience.

It gets us out of “have to mode” and into choice and possibilities.

There’s a whole series of these I call “Mode-Shifting Questions.”

They are simultaneously both gentle and powerful.

With simple questions, we can change our beliefs quite quickly!

I’m Teaching a Class

I know I’m not the only one who’s been worried about money lately.

So I figured I’d teach a class on it.

And I decided to make it affordable too, so that everyone can make it.

I’ll probably only teach it once, then turn it into a product.

Perhaps I’ll see you there?

Take care,
